Service Policies

The Service Policies section describes the constraints on the allowable actions of the service's consumers or software agents. NOTE: A policy may be defined in a separate document (e.g., common policies for a business or organizational domain) or as part of some document, and it may be expressed in machine-readable or human-readable languages. A service can have more than one policy.

The Service Policies page contains an overall Policy Description, as well as the following information for each policy:

  • Name (required): The name of the policy or the document containing the policy.
  • Reference: The location (URL) of the document that describes the policy.
